Office Door Lock - Didsbury
Customer recently moved into a new house and wanted a lock installed to office door.
Fitted a Eurocase with a thumbturn cylinder which lock on the inside.
Burglary - Sale
Customer was on holiday when their house was broken into around 5pm. Neighbour rang me and arranged for locks and handles to be replaced.
When asked about additional security I advised customer to purchase a PATLOCK to ease their worries.
Faulty Barrel - Bramhall
From no fault of the customer when they came to lock their front door and removed the key the whole barrel came out aswell.
Replaced faulty cylinder with an anti snap ASEC Vittal euro cylinder.
Snapped Key - Cheadle
Customer accidentally snapped their warn key inside their front door euro cylinder.
They had a spare key so all I needed to do was extract the broken bit.
Checked over the lock when removed and lock still worked fine.
Replaced UPVC Handle - Stockport
Due to wear and tear and the elements this white lever operated UPVC door handle had seen better days.
Replaced with new handle.
Attempted Burglary at Golf Course
Local Golf course had an attempted burglary, thieves tried drilling old euro cylinder.
After opening then door I replaced with a new anti snap ASEC Vittal euro cylinder
Communal Area Front Door Case Replacement - Preswich
The communal front entrance door lock was faulty and could easily be opened without the key so needed replacing. Used the existing screw in cylinder so all occupants kept their keys.
Yale Rim Cylinder Lock - Hazel Grove
Customer lost keys to their front wooden door lock. Wanted replacement rim cylinder.
Garage Up & Over Lock Change - Northwich
Customer had lost their keys to an up and over garage door lock. Replaced with a half anti snap euro cylinder and general maintenance on the springs and internal gearbox
Sash Mortice Lock Replacement - Poynton
Customer wanted an updated British Standard 5 Lever Sash Mortice lock replaced on their porch front door.
Ring Doorbell Installation - Heald Green
Customer wanted a ring door bell installed with solar surround charger for additional security on their property.

Customer wanted a combination lock installed to the gate on the rear of their property instead of a cylinder or mortice lock

Customer recently snapped a key in their lock to salon door.
They didnt want an extraction they wanted an updated lock, Changed for an anti snap euro cylinder.
Bedroom Door Combination Door Lock - Sale
Customer was in a house share and wanted his bedroom / office door locked with a combination style lock
Snapped UPVC Door Handle Replaced - Marple
Customer had a summer house transformed into an office where their UPVC door handle had snapped off.
After realigning the doors replaced the handles.
Yale Smart Lock - B&B Didsbury
Customer had their smart lock damaged upon an attempted break in.
They installed a basic rim cylinder for temporary basis until a smart lock could be replaced.
Handle Replacement - Carrington
When customer came to close their door ready to nip out the the shops the handle broken off.
After fault finding this happened due to excessive force when looking, all I needed to do was re-aligh the door and replace handle.
Faulty Bathroom Door Latch Replaced - Sale
Unfortunately due to increased miss use and force applied to the handle the centre of the latch wore down and ultimately snapped inside thus making the latch un-openable when closed.
After I gained entry to the bathroom I removed exisiting handle and replace the latch.
Fault Finding on MPL Gearbox - Cheadle Heath
Interesting job on a house in Cheadle Heath, customer said their kitchen door seized shut for over 6 months as they had other exit points. They decided they wanted the door open so gave me a call.
Upon arrival I went through the usual cost effective checks assessing correct method to use in order to open the door. Once door was opened I decided to strip down the MPL and clean the inside of the gearbox.
Upgraded to British Standard Locks - Davenport
Upgraded customers locks to British Standard.
Replaced Rim cylinder and sash mortice locks.
x4 Anti Snap Thumbturns on a pub in Bolton
Customer recently acquired a pub in Bolton and wanted new locks installed.
They wanted an easier way to lock the doors from inside without a key so I installed a thumbturn to each of the 4 UPVC doors

An estate agent wanted lock changes on a property in Pendlebury.
I replaced faulty nightlatch and rim cylinder
Lock Upgrade For Elderly with Dementia - Heald Green
Customer contacted me to change lock to a elderly gentlemans who had dementia house.
The wooden door was very old but they didnt want it replaced instead I removed old sash motice lock and replaced with a euro mortice case and thumbturn so elderly gentleman couldnt lock out carers.
Internal Door Lock For Insurance Reasons - West Didsbury
Due to the customer having a tenant in their flat, the insurance company requested a lock on the bedroom door.
Customer had already bought the lock and just required me to fit.
